Edging
Edging glass removes the sharp clean-cut edge of the mirror. This process involves grinding and polishing of the glass. Edges can be done to different levels of clarity.

Beveling
Beveling involves grinding and polishing an angled surface around the perimeter of the glass/mirror.

Grooves
Grinding grooves into glass provides decoration and function. Some grooves are created purely for display while the more aesthetic applications involve grinding patterns on the surfaces of glass and mirrors.
Tape Backing
For the most part, tape backing is a safety application to mirrors for protection. Certain applications also include slilding and bi-fold mirror doors. Backings may also be applied for use on shower doors.
Hole Drilling
Drilling out holes in glass and mirrors serves both an aesthetic and practical function for attachment of hardware.
